Teams Model

How teams operate at Relive—team structure, commission splits, roles/responsibilities, and how deals are handled under a team.

Joining or leading a team at Relive is an excellent way to accelerate growth, collaboration, and income. To ensure team leaders provide genuine value and guidance, the following standards apply:

Eligibility & Requirement

Team Leader Eligibility: To become a Team Leader, an agent must have achieved a minimum of $150,000 in Gross Commission Income (GCI) over the previous four quarters (trailing 12 months).

Mandatory Team Agreement: There must be a Team Agreement in place between the Team Leader and each Team Member.

  • This is a standard document drafted by Relive’s legal team.
  • The Team Leader must specify their exact fees and terms within this agreement.

For Team Members

Team Members follow the exact same compensation and cap system as Single Agents. The only difference is that Team Members also pay a Team Leader Fee.

For a full breakdown of how the cap works, please refer to Single Agent Model

Team Leader Fee

  • You pay a Team Leader Fee set by your Team Leader (minimum 10%).
  • The Team Leader Fee is calculated on the total Gross Commission Income of each deal submitted.
  • The fee applies to all deals, whether they are self-generated or a Relive Lead.
  • The Team Leader Fee comes from your side of the commission, not from Relive’s split.
  • The fee is independent of your cap status (Pre-Cap or Post-Cap).

Payout Sequence (for clarity)

  • Pay your Team Leader Fee (minimum 10% of total GCI).
  • The remainder is your net earnings.

Example 1 – Team Member (15% Leader Fee), Self-Generated Deal, Pre-Cap

  • Deal GCI = $10,000
  • Relive Split (30%) = $3,000
  • Team Leader Fee (15%) = $1,500
  • Your Net = $5,500

Example 2 – Team Member (15% Leader Fee), Self-Generated Deal, Post-Cap

  • Deal GCI = $10,000
  • Transaction Fee = $100 (lease)
  • Team Leader Fee (15%) = $1,500
  • Your Net = $8,400 (lease)

For Team Leaders

Team Leaders operate under the same quarterly cap system as Single Agents. However, the Team Leader Fees received are treated as part of the Team Leader's GCI and contribute to their cap.

Team Leader Fees and Cap Progress

  • The Team Leader Fees you receive from your team members are treated as part of your commission income (GCI) and contribute toward your $15,000 GCI cap threshold.
  • These fees are subject to the standard 70/30 split with Relive until you hit your cap.
  • Once you’ve hit your cap — whether through self-generated deals, team leader fees, or a combination of both — you keep 100% of all future Team Leader Fees for the remainder of the quarter.

Team Leader Fee (On Top of Revenue Share)

As a Team Leader, the Team Leader Fee is earned in addition to your Revenue Share.

If agents within your Revenue Share organization join your team, you earn both:

  • The Revenue Share payout, and
  • The Team Leader Fee (minimum 10%).

Example 1 – How Team Leader Fees Contribute to the Cap (Team Leader is Pre-Cap)

  • Team Member Deal GCI = $10,000
  • Relive Split (30%) = $3,000
  • Team Leader Fee (15%) = $1,500 (counts toward the Team Leader’s cap)
  • Team Leader Fee Split with Relive:
    • 30% to Relive = $450
    • 70% to Team Leader = $1,050 (net income)

Example 2 – How Team Leader Fees Contribute to the Cap (Team Leader is Post-Cap)

  • Team Member Deal GCI = $10,000
  • Relive Split (30%) = $3,000
  • Team Leader Fee (15%) = $1,500
  • Team Leader Fee Split with Relive:
    • 0% to Relive (Team Leader is capped)
    • 100% to Team Leader = $1,500 (net income)

Referrals and Lead Flow

Team Leaders have full autonomy over how they distribute business and leads within their team.

  • Internal Referrals: Team Leaders may send referrals to Team Members and charge any referral fee they choose.
  • The Agent's Math: Note that the commission side allocated to the agent (after the referral fee) will still be subject to the Relive Split (if pre-cap) and the standard Team Leader Fee.
  • Lead Provision: It is not mandatory for Team Leaders to provide leads. This is optional and depends on the Team’s specific value proposition.

Support and Management Responsibilities

Once an agent joins a team, the Team Leader becomes their direct manager.

  • Primary Support: It is the Team Leader’s responsibility to provide support, training, and guidance to their agents — not the Market Lead’s.
  • First Point of Contact: After joining a team, agents should reach out to their Team Leader for all daily operational questions or deal-related assistance.
  • Offboarding Procedures: Leaving Relive: If an agent decides to leave the company entirely, it is the Team Leader’s responsibility to offboard them. This can be done easily via the Relive App.
    • Leaving the Team Only: If an agent decides to leave the team but remain with Relive as a Single Agent, the Team Leader must contact the Market Lead to request that the agent be removed from the team roster.

Recruitment Ethics & Communication

Relive maintains professional standards regarding how teams are built within the company.

  • Group Chat Prohibition: Team Leaders are prohibited from using any of Relive’s official group chats to recruit agents.
  • Private Recruitment: Team recruitment must occur via private, one-on-one communication.

Value-Oriented Leadership

The Team Leader Fee should reflect the value you provide to your team. To attract and retain agents, strong team leaders typically offer one or more of the following:

  • Exclusive training materials and video resources
  • Mentorship and accountability sessions
  • Team meetings, coaching, or collaboration calls
  • Custom marketing materials, templates, or systems

When recruiting existing Relive Agents, Leaders must ensure their value proposition is clear, as the Team Leader Fee is an additional cost to the agent in exchange for these resources.

This means that before inviting another agent to join your team, you must ensure your value proposition is clear and compelling — agents should see genuine benefit in paying a Team Leader Fee in exchange for the additional mentorship, systems, or resources you provide.
